A Cahya Legawa's Les pèlerins au-dessus des nuages

Apakah Anda percaya dengan takdir?

Anya, a weathered astrologer with eyes like pools of stardust, sat across from Kai, a young man with a restless spirit etched onto his face. Kai had come seeking answers, drawn by whispers of destiny and the allure of fate.

“Do you believe in fate, young man?” Anya asked, her voice a gentle rasp against the silence.

Kai hesitated, the question echoing within him like a half-forgotten song. “I don’t know,” he admitted, a note of frustration tinging his voice. “Sometimes it feels like life is just a series of random events, a chaotic dance with no choreographer.”

Anya smiled, a knowing crinkle forming at the corners of her eyes. “Fate,” she began, “is often seen as an unyielding force, a script already written for us to follow. But what if destiny is something different?”

Intrigued, Kai leaned forward. “Different? How so?”

Anya gestured towards the night sky, visible through the window. “The constellations above,” she said, “are not rigid maps that dictate our paths. They are guides, offering us glimpses of the possibilities that lie ahead.”

She continued, “Our lives are not pre-determined, but rather a tapestry woven from the threads of our choices, experiences, and the encounters we have along the way. We may not be able to control the wind, but we can choose which sail to raise.”

Kai pondered her words, a spark of understanding flickering in his eyes. “So, destiny is not a set destination, but rather the direction we choose to navigate?”

Anya nodded. “It is not about what is written in the stars, but about the choices we make under them. We are not mere passengers on this journey of life, but co-creators, shaping our paths with every decision.”

Anya leaned forward, her gaze holding his. “Some may seek solace in the predetermined, a comfort in believing their lives are pre-ordained. But there is a different kind of strength in embracing the unknown, in recognizing the power we hold to shape our own destinies.”

A silence descended, filled with the echo of possibility. Kai looked out at the vastness of the night sky, the stars no longer a source of predetermined fate but a canvas of endless possibilities. He didn’t know what his future held, but he felt a newfound sense of agency, a spark of determination to choose his own path and write his own destiny.
