I Dit It My Way

Maybe because today there were some hard times came upon all of us in the dormitory, I found my self on a very tired condition in the afternoon. About Four in the afternoon, I could hold my awareness no more. I have fallen on my simple bed, my eyes closed instantly.

Where most of my consciousness of the real and dream mixed into one. I found my self walking along a strange path of a village, maybe familiar, but all village paths were alike since they bring about the same sensation – the same feeling. Then I started to notice if there were more characters around me, some of them were very alike with the common villagers, some of them were luminance in a tremendously way.

Some how I recognize if the luminance ones were not an ordinary characters indeed very common in other way. They are the life giver, the life power, the life spirit, or people call them by the soul, or maybe in very classical term they are the ghosts. But in that very moment all those terms were not exist in my though, I felt like looking into a very peaceful sceneries, like all the burdens were just disappear by magical way. Thereafter I somehow knew that these sceneries I was looking into it because I was no longer part of a common villager, even tough I did not have any luminescence in me (yet).

I opened my eyes and a melodramatic evening welcomed me by a simple song. I then whisper to my heart, yes the time shall come for sure, nothing need to worry. Beside it is a beautiful song that connected the dream and reality. Well, I then enjoyed my cheerful evening with this song…

And now, the end is here
And so I face the final curtain
My friend, I’ll say it clear
I’ll state my case, of which I’m certain
I’ve lived a life that’s full
I traveled each and ev’ry highway
And more, much more than this, I did it my way

Regrets, I’ve had a few
But then again, too few to mention
I did what I had to do and saw it through without exemption
I planned each charted course, each careful step along the byway
And more, much more than this, I did it my way

Yes, there were times, I’m sure you knew
When I bit off more than I could chew
But through it all, when there was doubt
I ate it up and spit it out
I faced it all and I stood tall and did it my way

I’ve loved, I’ve laughed and cried
I’ve had my fill, my share of losing
And now, as tears subside, I find it all so amusing
To think I did all that
And may I say, not in a shy way,
“Oh, no, oh, no, not me, I did it my way”

For what is a man, what has he got?
If not himself, then he has naught
To say the things he truly feels and not the words of one who kneels
The record shows I took the blows and did it my way!

Yes, it was my way
