ChatGPT ada fenomena AI yang meledak di akhir tahun yang lalu, membuat banyak orang melihat perubahan besar cara kita berinteraksi dengan mesin dan kecerdasan buatan (AI). Dilanjutkan hadirnya Bing Chat di peramban Microsoft Edge serta di aplikasi papan ketik SwiftKey di Android, yang membawa teknologi GPT4.
Harus diakui bahwa Google tertinggal jauh pada permulaan tren baru ini. Dan kini Bard hadir sebagai LLM dari Google untuk menantang ChatGPT (yang dibeking oleh Microsoft). Tapi seberapa bagus Bard?
Tidak seperti Bing Chat, Google Bard masih menyebut dirinya sebagai sebuah (proyek) eksperimen.
Perkenalan dengan Bard sederhana, kita bisa tahu bahwa dia adalah LLM yang bisa menghasilkan teks (tulisan) seperti puisi, kode, skrip, surat, dan lain sebagainya. Berbeda dengan Bing Chat yang tidak hanya bisa menghasilkan teks, namun juga citra.
Oke, itu tidak masalah. Seberapa baik luaran yang diberikan dari teks yang diproduksi oleh Bard?
Saya memberikan sebuah contoh kasus dalam manajerial kesehatan tentang insiden keselamatan pasien. Jawabannya bagus, standar textbook kalau bisa dibilang demikian. Saya tidak menemukan kekeliruan dalam jawaban singkat yang diberikan.
Saya juga memeriksa kemampuan lainnya berdasarkan contoh kasus yang masih sama. Yaitu menulis surat.
Saya meminta Bard menulis surat permintaan maaf kepada pasien dari pemilik apotek atas kejadian tersebut. Bard menulis surat dengan baik, singkat – padat – jelas. Yang cukup unggul di sini adalah Bard menyediakan tiga draf yang bisa kita pilih, yang mana yang lebih sesuai. Bing Chat tidak bisa melakukan ini pada konten teks (tapi bisa pada luaran konten gambar), sehingga Bard lebih unggul dalam hal ini.
Apakah Bing Chat memberikan hasil yang lebih baik? Itu harus dibandingkan kembali.
